Sep 28,  · The thundering and aggressive riffs on this album showcased a lot of the technical precision and talent of this aging gore metal outfit, but the short incomplete tracks and lack of original left little impression. It seems the band has been stuck in a purgatory of trying to grow and evolve due to constantly rotating band members over the decades.

Hell are something of a tragic story in the great legends of NWOBHM, formed all the way back in but never releasing a full-length due to the collapse of their label. The suicide of vocalist and guitarist Dave Halliday after the band had split up also cast a considerable pall, and they soon faded away. Despite this they were kept alive in spirit through the projects of Sabbat’s Andy.

This is it! The first Devil Bell'ers cassette, released all the way back in In , the concept appeared in our Reaganite Abyssm. We jammed. And the next year - it was Flesh as 'Hellish Hot Bros' came to life (in my Ma's kitchen, by Ainslie and Bernard in Chicago where Rose Jealous screamed from the old folks home next door and early-period Satanic Panic hit the road with the Contras.
